AU V makes some of my favorite dreamy, hand-drawn, avant garde clothing in SL. Jare just had a fashion show to feature his collection and his new pieces should be out soon. Until then, I feature Vilan, one of my favorite outfits in his line. I love the voluminous shoulders and silky high-waisted pants. I had an itch to visit Redgrave today, seeing as the new Megan skin was scheduled for release in September. Since I’ve been offline for a few days, I didn’t get the notice but I did luck out as it’s released! I love the realism and matte texture/matte lips of this line. Lightly freckled and much more down to earth than previous Redgrave skins, I think you’ll like Megan too. Hermony makes my new favorite ‘man eater’ tee, which also reminds me of Rocky Horror a little bit, haha. The store is smaller but has some cool belts and smokes, tees, eyes, and those cool WMD collaboration chucks. Also, I love this Baiastice bag so much, I’ll have to feature it better later. Hey all, RL + a mysteriously crappy internet connection has made logging in a pain in the arse these past few days. Hope y’all have been good, what with the Skin and Shape Expo (!!) going on. Someone called it “my personal heaven” and they weren’t too far off. ;P I have many skins I’d like to blog about, but until then, here’s a look I’d been planning to post since before my computer went all wacko. December of Tarnished made these über-cute hairs inspired by Where the Wild Things are. I really am delighted by them. One is the group gift and the other will be set for sale, soon. Oh, and I’m still stuck on Eloh‘s September Starlight update. So beautiful and ghostly. <3, Abra

This bathtub and toilet set filled with flowers has got to be one of my favorite free gifts ever. On the top 5 list for sure! They come from Ladybug, a cute shop housed in a snowglobe, floatin’ above the grid. There are some cute shoes and jewelry there as well, but I have to say, for me it’s all about the bathroom/garden set. Maybe it’s because my Gram grew flowers in a tub/toilet like this. I think that’s part of it. Also, it’s just so incredibly beautiful!

One more thing, if you haven’t picked up the Eloh September Starlight updates yet, please do. They are so perfect! Those lips, those brows, that face…so nahms. She has a top jar there too, so you know what to do! <3, Abra

Hai. I made a very light look today, all because of noju‘s newly released socks. They were originally sold as part of an outfit and I’d been wishing they were sold alone and in more colors. Well guess what? They’re now available now in 4 tonal packs & a rainbow of colors. Wish granted! ❤, Abra

Eln made a keytar and I am in love with it!! Look how folksy yet modern it is! I’m wearing one of Emery‘s new releases, these awesome mini tops– soo cute. Milk Motion‘s my leather boots have been on my mind since I saw them in Marie’s ads…thank god they’re out for fall! Oh…one more thing…Dream Ink makes some beautiful skins. Really, really beautiful. My favorite being Alana, which I’m wearing here, and Lya. The only thing I’d comment on is the brows, which are sometimes a little wild for my taste- and I love thick, wild brows. (i.e. Natalia Vodianova) Really though, the features themselves redeem them a thousand-fold, if you can’t handle the brows or want more of an innocent look- wear bangs! Keep on rockin’ in the free world, peeps. ❤, Abra

I dig Shade Throne‘s new necklace The Perfect Tune and, of course, &Bean‘s Lake skin. The latter I’ve had since release day, but I’ve been practicing the art of delayed gratification. I wouldn’t recommend it, btw. ;) The gloves and watches are from a cool store named YV. I’d been there before and loved the offerings, but again, practiced delayed gratification and promptly lost the lm and all hope of finding it until Dec shot me the location, by random chance, last night. Wheee…!!! Thanks babes! The moral of the story kids? Fuck delayed gratification, just do it. xo, Abra

Holdin’ on…and yes we are. So is the weather too, as the sweltering heat of summer slowly bakes off into the autumn. Here’s a little vintage-y look, inspired by my new favorite sneakers, Pididdle‘s adorable Canvas Shoes. Brutus really did a fantastic job! I love their cute Keds-like shape as well as the umpteen colors they come in. It was serendipity that Artilleri‘s new Wilma dress matched perfectly, and same goes for Boom‘s Wrong Size Cardi. The former is vintage heaven, comes sleeveless and with a color change belt. The later is cuteness, bustin’ at the seams! Zooby‘s Pet Pug Carrier is nowhere near new news on SL, but oddly enough, I hadn’t featured it here until now. It’s so adorable and well made; for all the girls who haven’t pulled their pup out of the closet for a while, I’m sure the lil creatures would appreciate it! ;p Last thing to mention is Noju‘s antique rose headdress. The other day, I featured Noju‘s comfy roomwear, and this headpiece is another great addition to this store’s ever-growing repertoire. Keep on, keepin’ on, folks…xo, Abra

I don’t wear much yellow on here, not that I have a thing against the color, it’s just not one I really gravitate towards. Today was a different day though, and I have Anya Ohmai to thank for it. Her new releases for her !Ohmai brand are just stunning and this yellow Catherine Blouse sent me into rapture. I decided to go for a mature primary colors look here: red, yellow and blue. Again, not something I’d usually go for, but it goes to show you that there really aren’t rules or limits. I was talking to the fab Chance Greatrex who put it perfectly when he said that “the only limit is your mind.” We’re talking about fashion here, but really this goes for pretty much everything and anything you’d want to do.

Other things to mention here are LaGyo‘s new, beautifully graphical Mila bangles and Boom‘s Seaman pants, which are super big, with über-cute bells on the bottom making me love these pants hard. Pacadi‘s Sara heels are a new favorite t-strap shoe of mine. They come in a bunch of colors and are very well made. Something about t-strap shoes reminds me a lot of autumn, I think it has to do with vintage school photos as well as the way they showcase leggings so well. These will be a great wardrobe staple for the upcoming months ahead. Hope your Sunday was as good as mine has been. xo, Abra
