Hey y’all, I’ll be away until the 5th or 6th, so no updates until then. ^___^ I leave you with a dirty, ratty, tomboyish look that I am loving. What more to say?! I love THEDOGS, Shade Throne, NinikoBoy (and Niniko too. it’s fun to wear boys clothes though..), Surf Couture, LLP, GoK, Alexitimia…
These boots made me dizzy and filled me with joy! New, hot, buckled, ankle boots! Like sweet honey to my ears…I’d never seen or heard of grasp before, but I sure do love their boots and wallets! So well made, so rockin’ good. yum yum yum! My hair is Doozer of Shade Throne‘s premiere hairdo, out soon I hope! My flight goggles are made by Kumaki, and the texture and details are just great. (I love the way the leather strap flips out, this always happens irl, bahaha.) Royal Blue‘s leggings aren’t super new, but I think I need to see more people wear the contrast leggings, omg how I love them!!! I saw Falastear Aeon and was reminded of Little Heaven. Sweet goodness, I loved this place when I was a baby here. I still do, although the newer build scares the bejezzus out of me each time I’m there. The leg pouch and tools are from the Herb Hunt outfits. LH makes great theme outfits as well as goth clothes and if you need a ridiculously sexy/thissideoftrashy look, go, go, go there. I wasn’t going to indulge in a Devon Aoki skin until Lazolli‘s came around. I really love the look of each of the skinsout there, each has it’s own cool & lovely twist, but Lazolli’s is the one to wear in my case. And of course, my watch is chronokit, some of the best watches in sl, hands doooown.
The sun is shining, the weather is sweet yeah…make you wanna move your dancing feet now, enjoy the sun, folks! <333Love, Abra
ps. Sanu is having a Treasure Quest. Click here, go hunt, be happy!!!
pps. Morrigan Denimore of The Black Canary is starting a Lolita magazine, the first in SL!! He’s looking for contributors and also, people to join the Lolita photo contest! IM him for the notecard on how to enter!

Today, Fishy Strawberry releases it’s first ever skin: Daphne. I’m so incredibly excited about this release, and I think Fae did an excellent job! Daphne comes in 3 skin tones, each in 11 makeup variations, with black, brown and blond eyebrow options, and with or without a hairline. OMG!! Yes, she dun gone and thought of everything…
Daphne’s face is super cute. Super. Cute. Think strong Brows, flirty eyes, juicy, kisssssable lips and dimples! Omg, the world’s most perfect dimples!! /me swoooons… Daphne’s body is softly sculpted, with even lighting throughout. Think soft, glowing, perfectly moisturized skin. (Not ‘greasy’ or ‘oiled’, and certainly not ‘flat.) Her bum is cute and I love the little mole on the right breast! (not pictured, so you can discover it for yourself…)
There’s also a ‘deluxe demo’ in an exclusive makeup in the Fishy Strawberry subscrib-o-matic, so join up and check the history for it. Try it on, fall in love, go back for more…that’s the way it works folks! <333Love, Abra

Hi all, I’ve been meaning to do a post like this: easy-breezy, relaxed, pretty summer dressing. When I think of this idea, I think of a comfy tank, shorts and some flat sandals. My default summer outfit! It’s easy to dress this style up or down, and it can go girl-next-door or bizarro or very posh lady. Shorts + tanks + sandals for all! Here are some of my favorite tanks, shorts and sandals to get you started!
I could have really gone off on some tangents here, but I tried (as much as my little rebel heart could) to stay on track with mostly all denim shorts and tanks that were white or close to. Some of my favorite tanks don’t come in white, which is why there are some other ones mixed in. Why only flat sandals? Well, you try walking in heels in the sand! >.< It’s about as fun and graceful as getting your teeth pulled! I love collecting basics irl and isl, and I have accumulated a good collection of well-made basics. I’ve tried to include all my favorites, but some just didn’t make it in this time. I’m also curious if there are some favorite basics that I may not be aware of. Do you have a favorite basic I don’t have listed here? Feel free to leave your input in the comments!
I want to make mention of two of the most exciting new skins out there imho. First is Blowpop‘s Elizabeth N2. As you know, I’ve been a huge fan of Infinity by Blowpop’s line since Elizabeth’s first release. Now Annkya has redone the Blowpop faces (+ a new face, Maya) and the new version is stunning. Creamy, softly sculpted, glowy, well-toned skins, with sophisticated-yet-adorable faces, and the best red lip ever, imho. I’m so, so loving this new release and I hope you do check it out soon. It’ll be at your own expense if you wait! ps. There’s a current group gift in the Blowpop group, so clear out a space & join. And stay joined at that!
The second new skin release I’d like to gush about is League‘s skin release debut. I am so taken aback by how beautiful these faces are; they are seriously stunning. The body is well contoured while staying soft and dewy and the skin tones are perfect for summer and for our darker skinned sisters. There are two faces: Kate & Misty and they are equally beautiful, imho. Kate’s features are a little more mature than Misty’s, but as you see, depending on the shape of your ‘bones,’ both skins can leave you with quite a baby face. (Which is something I love. irl I have a baby face, so there you go.) I’m so deeply impressed with Nena’s work and really hope you get out to the shop to try on the demos. Breathe deep, shortness of breath is just a symptom when trying these on…
I’ve been avoiding too much Hair Fair talk on here, since I know you’re already overloaded, but it would be a durn shame if I didn’t express how dumfounded I was when I first laid eyes on Lamb‘s new Dog Roses hair. I know everyone is talking about this style- how could you not?!- and I am no different. Bravo x 1,000 Lamb!!! Check out the Lamb booth at hair fair, for some of the most sexy/laid-back/long/hippie mama hair on the grid.
Hope you’re having a good week! <333Love, Abra

I’ve been wanting to do a greasy, mechanic-y look for a while now, especially since coming across Garage R.H., which is my new ‘small, exciting’ store to go to. G.R.H. makes some awesome ‘alternative vehicles’ aka. cool as &^%# ‘Rodeo Flyer’ vehicles + a motorcycle as well as some ‘aged denim’ and modern furniture & clothes. You can even soup up the vehicles, and I did buy a kit but it’s not attached as I haven’t figured out how to as of NAO. Everything here has been made with thoughtful care, and the details make the items special. Just like Miel makes their clothes out of ‘organic wool’ these pants I’m wearing have been ‘aged for 5 years.’ Little thoughts like this, backstories, make shops and their creations thatmuchmore cool, to me. I hiked up the jeans and made them board short length, which I dig, and which was easy, since the cuffs come in large (male) and small (fem).
My boots are made by kick ass hat mechanic Fade Dana, as has my switchblade & goggles. (Don’t mess mofos…) You’d have to be under a mountain of a rock not to have seen, noticed and drooled over her work. Totally realistic, totally imaginative, and a little bit dirty (literally)…Fade’s work is on a level of her own. She OWN’S what she makes and her stuff is f-l-a-w-l-e-s-s. *sighs happily
League came out with these new shirts and I’m loving them. There aren’t enough good tie-up shirts like this isl, I love the shadows under the rolled up sleeves, gah, little touches like this make a product. My belt and ciggie (can’t get enough of those slciggies..) are Naith Smith, top purveyor of some of my fav layered chains and punk jewelry. (Naith and THE DOGS are gonna take over men’s jewelry.) When I say punk jewelry, I mean authentic & street. Nothing pink and with spikes, people. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I just totally appreciate Naith’s more serious, sophisticated approach to what’s usually too clean and cute for my tastes. Rock on.
Also wanted to mention you have until the 21st to pick up one of my favorite skins, Elizabeth, from Blowpop…as they are having a 60% off sale. Srsly, you’re going to empty your pockets eventually, might as well do it with a sale. Annyka’s skin is so durn creamy and glowy. Too often I see flat, lifeless hand-drawn skin, but with Blowpop I feel almost more creamy/moisturized/glowy than with some of those ‘oiled’ & photosourced skins. aka…she’s captured the rl texture of skin better than a camera. Seriously though, I don’t think Blowpop get’s enough attention on the blogs so I’m going to shout shout shout about it. Get over there and get yourself some softasababy skin. Nahmss.
Last but most certainly not least, I wanted to mention NXS tattoos. Natyssia sent me over a few styles and I just love her work. As you have seen, I love using tattoos to add interest to an outfit or add punch to a dress/gown. NXS designs are really well made and the styles haven’t been worn all over the place like some of my other favorite ink places. (yet, that is…just you wait.) If you like ink and good illustration, NXS = tha place 4 u. Peace, I need summthin’ to eat! <333Love, Abra

Hey y’all, a quick little post that doesn’t have to do with Hair Fair (because you don’t need another), but does have to do with hair. The iconic Gibson Girl hair from Miriel‘s will be off market soon, since Miriel’s sim is seeing it’s last day today (the 20th). I may have mentioned this a while back, after speaking with Miriel in IMs. I actually asked if any new hair was coming out, alas I spoke too soon… If you don’t own Gibson Girl, I’d get it now. Imho, it’s the best classic bun/updo in SL, totally timeless and something that’s as current now as when it was released. There’s something so proper- and yet, so sexy- about GG. So go take a break from Hair Fair lag, and stock up while you still can!
In other words, I just wanted to say how enamoured I am with the shop The Dogs. I think JDDM could very well be on his way to becoming an SL equivilent to the likes of Hedi Slimane and such. I am such a Hedi Slimane fan, some of the sexiest men’s clothing ever…now some of the sexiest photos, come from this man’s work. (funny enough, I later discovered the bracelet is named Hedi!) Sexy, well made accessories that are both completely masculine and absolutely unisex. The scarves are big and bigger and something I totally wear everyday irl (seriously) and the jewelry and hats can only be compared to the likes of Megg of Chapeau tres Mignon and LaGyo. (Uma rocked it stampunk bunneh style.) Perfectly enough, these three stores, along with the always fantastic Mimikri & four Yip, are located together in what I’ll now refer to ‘alternative/avant garde/indie/bizzaro/sexxah shopping heaven.’ If you haven’t been, go, and go with lots of lindens at that.
Also wanted to mention MANNA, which has gotten a lot of coverage from it’s spot at the Albero accessories fair. I picked up the adventure boots and belt…total love = leather, detailed accessories and that wanderer spirit. If you like a little rugged, steampunk, cute girl in the woods style, MANNA is a place for you.
And Glow Studio‘s ‘free’ socks that come with the Jack earrings persuaded me to buy the earrings themselves!! Ahhh so cool, I love the print and the cut outs…I only hope for more prints in this unique sock style…and YFT‘s baggy half-pants have been an unspoken love for a while. They have that perfect amount of sexy sag to go with anything and everything…tomboy enough to be authentic, feminine enough not to set it over the edge…
Now if only I could tp somewhere, being stuck at home sucks. *shakes fist at sl*
ps. Upon try-on #53 or so, Vive9‘s Belle finally grew on me. I’m not a total covernt like a lot of people (it’s my shape, not the skin’s fault), but it’s cute enough on ma’ strange bones! ;p
pps. UZURI is having a skin sale! 50% off from 3:30am Sat to 3:30am Sun. Here’s me in UZURI. If you like beautiful dark skins, you should own a UZURI skin, for sure!
You know the drill, details after the C.U.T…!!!

One of my first looks on the blog was a Japanese inspired Lolita, with Curio Obscura sausage curls and a dress by the shop Feather. Oh, and pasty white, flat goth skin, which is not to say anything about the skin itself, but the then state of very pale skins when I rezzed. And lyke, I’m not even 1 year old yet! But the improvements made to skin, surprise me more and more. I hope I do not get use to it tooooo much, as how good can they really get?! I already know the answer to that one, and I’m smiling about it. (Chhh chhh chhh chhh changes…=) Anyway, so why the trip back to Lolitasville? Well, for one, I was shopping in Pure Angel and saw the new Feather dress and had to have it. It walks the line perfectly between a modern summer dress and a more vintage-y, fancier Lolita number. Feather is also, imho, one of the top purveyor’s of fine china in SL. You will find everything you need for a proper tea party spread- or for those setting a scene, the perfect environmental accessories.
My hair is from a small, quality hair shop named Lot@Love and I am pretty smitten with it!! It comes in my dark color as well as fiery red, the bow is color-change and the curls are some of my favorite I’ve come across. The black is quite dark, but it has depth and seems to avoid the ‘flat black’ syndrome that some hairs suffer from. I picked up another ‘do at L@Luv, one called Heartache, which is an adorable, voluminous updo. It’s adorable and you’ll be seeing it here soon, I promise! Keepin’ it short and sweet.
